Round 4 of the Choc Fish Series is coming up in Ashburton on Sunday 23rd September. This race is being hosted by the Mid Canterbury Mountain Bike Club on their local tracks.
The Series comprises a total of 5 races, on the 4th Sunday of each month, leading up to the first races of the next summer season so people have an incentive to keep race fit over the winter! Points will be awarded for each race, and your 3 best races count towards your final score. This means you only have to complete 3 races to be eligible, or you can do all 5 and your best 3 results will count.
This competition is open to South Canterbury (SCMTBC), Mid Canterbury (MCMTBC), and North Otago (MBNO) club members to try and
encourage some inter and intra club competition. Non-club members are welcome to take part in the races (so invite your friends!), but they will not be eligible for placings in the series unless they join the club. Remember that these races are not a serious affair and are supposed to be fun! Don’t be put off if you are not a speed demon (I aren’t).
