Hi everyone,

Round 4 of the Choc Fish Summer Series is coming up in Oamaru on Sunday 24th March. We know some people will be doing Blue Mountain, but we are running with our advertised date. This race is being held in the forest on Cape Wanbrow.

There will be a total of 5 races, on the 4th Sunday of each month (not December). Points will be awarded for each race, and your 3 best races count towards your final score. This means you only have to complete 3 races to be eligible, or you can do all 5 and your best 3 results will count.

Remember that these races are not a serious affair and are supposed to be fun! Don’t be put off if you are not a speed demon.

Keep tabs on our events agenda and Choc Fish page for updates, and in case we have to cancel or postpone (e.g. because of weather)

After the race, we might do a little club ride to explore the other tracks in the area. This means that you can come along and watch the race if you want (you might get a job though 🙂 ), and then join in afterwards for a casual ride.

Cheers,
    Matthew
