Despite light rain greeting us all when we awoke on Sunday morning, 14 keen riders still made it to the Chocolate Fish mountainbike race held on Sunday 27 March.

The race was held on a new track on top of the White Horse in Waimate, with damp conditions under tyres adding a new challenge to the track. The track was 100% rideable but as the race went on, line choice was an important part of the race to avoid slippery patches. Everyone enjoyed the new track and we plan to hold another race there in the near future.
